Since our last, in this City, Mrs. Elizabeth MURRAY, of Finkle-street, aged
58. Also, Ann SCOTT, of Saint Cuthbert's Lane, aged 34. 
 
At Tarraby, near this City, on Tuesday evening last, Mr. MAGUIRE, advanced
in years. 
 
On the 3d instant, at Bridekirk, John THOMPSON, Esq., aged 73. In his death,
the poor of his neighbourhood have lost a kind benefactor; and even those in
easier circumstances of life were, in various ways, objects of his
benevolence; his great humanity caused  him to be beloved by all who knew
him. 
 
At Wigton, on Thursday the 2nd inst. Andrew JOHNSTONE, grocer, aged 60. 
 
On Tuesday last, at Dacre, near Penrith, Mr. John THOMPSON, of London,
clothier, to Miss M. E. HODGSON, of Newbiggin. 
 
On the 2d inst., at Dovenby, Elizabeth, relict of the late Humphrey ARCHER,
advanced in years. 
 
In New Lowther-street, Whitehaven, in the 63d year of her age, Miss WATSON,
a lady endowed with many amiable qualities.-At the same place, Mrs. Hannah
COLLINS, formerly of the Black Bull inn, Egremont. Mrs. Ann SCOTT, 70. In
her 5th year, Eleanor, daughter of Mr. Isaac EDMONDSON. 
 
At Harrington, Mrs. GLAISTER, aged 77.-Mrs. Mary WATSON, 77. 
 
Lately, at Felldyke, in Lamplugh, Miss PEARSON, grand daughter of the late
Mr. John JACKSON. 
 
At Cockermouth, the wife of Mr. Jonathan HETHERINGTON, joiner and cabinet
maker, advanced in life.-Martha, the wife of Mr. Richard MAXWELL, weaver. 
 
At Appleby, on the 3rd instant, William ATKINSON, Esq. solicitor, aged 26.
Although cut off in the zenith of his youth, he will long live in the
recollection of all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance. 
 
At Kendal, Mrs. Elizabeth CARRADUS, wife of Mr.  John CARRADUS,
police-officer, aged 38. 
 
At Wentworth House, Yorkshire, the Countess FITZWILLIAM. 
 
On the 19h of July, at Zante, on his way from Athens to England, Edward,
third son of Christopher BLACKETT, Esq. of Wylam, Northumberland, aged 25. 
 
At North Shields, on Sunday week, Mr. William RICHARDSON, notary public. He
appeared in excellent health at dinner, and was found dead sitting in his
chair between six and seven o'clock in the evening. Mr. R. was the author of
a new Translation of the Odes of Anacreon of Teos. 
 
At Dumfries, Margaret, wife of Mr. John BELL. 
 
At Ayr, John AITKEN, Esq. late Baillie of that Burgh. 
 
In Liverpool, on the 26th ult., Mary GRIFFITH, at the very advanced age of
109 years, 7 months, and 10 days. 
 
Elizabeth EGLIN, a poor widow, died in York on Wednesday week, in the
hundred and second year of her age. Her mother lived to be 103 years old.
