At Netherby, on Tuesday the 13th of April, Sir James GRAHAM, Bart. aged 62. 

 

At Rome, on the 30th ult., Elizabeth, Duchess of Devonshire, widow of the late Duke, and sister of the present Earl of Bristol, in
her 65th year. Her Grace was a most liberal patron of the Arts, and her death will be much felt by English artists in Italy. 

 

Since our last, Mrs. Margaret SARGENSON, Rickergate, aged 33. Mr. James GIBBONS, Shaddongate, aged 27. 

 

Lately, in the county of Down, in Ireland, aged 94, the wife of John SIMON, Esq. formerly Miss ADDERTON, of this city. 

 

At Clifton, near Penrith, Thomas SAVAGE, at the advanced age of 87; one of the Society of Friends. 

 

At Penrith, on the 10th instant, Rachael HEWETSON, aged 53, one of the Society of Friends; whose upright conduct and benevolent
disposition were an ornament to her profession, and gained her many friends, by whom her loss will be severely felt. 

 

At Penrith, on Friday se'nnight, Ann, wife of Mr. John NIXON, threadmaker, (formerly of this city,) aged 22. Same day, Mr. Samuel
SIMPSON, aged 62. On Saturday last, Mrs. Jane MORELAND, aged 72. On Monday last, Mr. John THOLSTON, of Butterwick, wool-comber, aged
75. On Wednesday, Catherine, wife of  Mr. Joseph MILBURN, aged 60. On Thursday, at Skelton, near Penrith, Mr. William ANDERSON,
yeoman, 66. 

 

In Queen-street, Whitehaven, at the advanced age of 85, Mrs. SHAMMON, relict of William SHAMMON, Esq. of the royal navy, (whom she
survived 28 years,) and sister of the Rev. Wilfrid HUDDLESTON, A. M. rector of Handsworth, in Yorkshire. In Roper-street, in the
27th year of her age, Frances, the wife of Mr. John FISHER. In Scotch-street, Mr. Hugh FLINN, aged 67. Monday morning, in
King-street, in the prime of life, Mr. Daniel FEARON, manufacturer. 

 

On Saturday last, at Egremont, John JACKSON, Esq. aged 87. On several occasions Mr. CURWEN, M. P. was put in nomination by the
deceased, as representative for Carlisle.

At North Shields, aged 71, Mr. James PRINGLE, one of the first mathematicians of the age. Many years ago, he and Mr. M. TAYLOR,
formerly of Marley-Hill, Durham, were assistant calculators for the Nautical Ephemeria, under the late Astronomer Royal, Nevil
MASCULYNE, LL. D.
