At her Villa, Broom-house, Fulham, near London, on Monday morning, at eight o'clock, the Dowager Countess of Lonsdale, at a very
advanced age (we believe 82). She retained good health and spirits up to a period very shortly preceding her demise.

On Saturday week, Mr. HARRIS, master of the Brig Marshland, of Whitehaven. He fell overboard off St. Bees' Head, on his way to
Dublin, about an hour after leaving Whitehaven harbour, and was drowned. A wife and large family are left to lament his fate.
