At St. Bees, the Rev. Robert HOGG, minister of the Presbyterian Chapel, Whitehaven, to Mary Ann, eldest daughter of Mr. John ORMANDY
of that town. 

 

At Workington, Mr. J. GILLIS, to Miss M. ELLIOTT.

DIED, 

 

At her Villa, Broom-house, Fulham, near London, on Monday morning, at eight o'clock, the Dowager Countess of Lonsdale, at a very
advanced age (we believe 82). She retained good health and spirits up to a period very shortly preceding her demise. 

 

On Thursday last, at the White Ox, English-street, Carlisle, Mr. John WEIR. 

 

Since our last, Mr. John BRIDEN, Scotch-street, aged 42. Mr. James LITTLE, Wreay, aged 27. Mr. John ANGUS, Woodbank, aged 24.
William LIDDLE, calico printer, aged 78. Mrs. Hannah FLETCHER, Caldewgate, aged 35. Mr. John ADAMSON, Caldewgate, aged 65. Mrs.
Alice WILSON, Ritson's Lane, aged 43. 

 

In King-street, Whitehaven, Mr. James JOHNSTON, draper, aged 74. 

 

In Swing-pump-lane, Whitehaven, of excessive drinking, Jane RILEY, aged 34. 

 

On Sunday, at Corney Hall, near Whitehaven, Mr. E. BROCKBANK, jun. greatly respected. At Middleton-place, in Corney, Mr. Wm. MOOR,
51. 

 

On Saturday week, Mr. HARRIS, master of the Brig Marshland, of Whitehaven. He fell overboard off St. Bees' Head, on his way to
Dublin, about an hour after leaving Whitehaven harbour, and was drowned. A wife and large family are left to lament his fate.

On Saturday last, at Workington, Mrs. Grace DIXON, relict of the late Mr. John DIXON, aged 75 years.

March 30, at the British Museum, aged 70, the Rev. Thomas MAURICE, author of Indian Antiquities, &c. 

 

At the Bay of Balui, Mississippi, Cady LAFONTAINE, aged 137. He retained his faculties until his death.
