At St. Cuthbert's Church, on Saturday last, Mr. Wm. JARDINE, to Miss Mary THURSBY. 

 

At Penrith, on the 23rd inst. Mr. Joseph WILSON, to Miss Elizabeth NICHOLSON. 

 

At Whitehaven, on the 24th inst. by the Rev. A. HUDDLESTON, Capt. James ROBERTSON, R. N., to Ann, daughter of the late William
WALKER, Esq. of Whitehaven, and sister of the late William WALKER, Esq. of Gillgarron. 

 

On Saturday, at Cockermouth, Mr. Thomas CALLIN, to Miss Rebecca FRANCE. 

 

At Whitehaven, Mr. Jeremiah RYAN, pipe maker, to Mrs. Jane PITBLADE. Mr. James CLARK, gardener, to Miss Mary DOUGAN. 

 

At Langholm, Mr. Wm. HUME, baker, to Miss Mary THORBURN. The joint ages of the bridegroom and bride did not amount to more than 35. 

 

On Saturday morning, at St. George's Church, Hanover-square, London, Miss Mary FITZCLARENCE, to Capt. FOX, son of Lord Holland. The
Duke of York, and Duke and Duchess of Clarence, Lord and Lady Holland, were present. The Duke of York gave the Bride away. 

 

At Kirk Lonan, Isle of Man, Mr. William CHRISTIAN, of Douglas, to Miss Ann KERMODE, of Laxey. 

 

DIED, 

 

Since our last, Mrs. Dinah LIDDLE, of Caldewgate, aged 40. Mary KILBRAITH, of Lowther-street, aged 25. Mrs. Bridget ROY, of
Rickergate, aged 63. Mr. John YOUNG, of Cummersdale, aged 59. Catherine DORAN, Water-lane, aged 12. Mrs. Mary PROUDFOOT,
Scotch-street, aged 58. Dorothy DEVLIN, House of Recovery, aged 19 years. 

 

On Saturday last, at Mr. CANT's, Penrith, Mrs. Eliz. WALTON, of Alston, aged 80 years. On Wednesday, Mr. Israel CLARKE, aged 28.
Same day, Mr. Joseph ATKINSON, of the Coach and Horses inn, of typhus fever, aged 29. 

 

At the Brewery, near Alston, aged 37, Mary, wife of Mr. WRIGHT, of that place. 

 

At Moresby, Mrs. E. ROUTLEDGE, widow, 74. 

 

At Eden Place, near Kirkby Stephen, Wm. ORTON, Esq. aged 70. At Mallerstang, Mr. Robert ATKINSON, 52. At Kirkby Stephen, Margaret,
daughter of Mr. John DIXON, shopkeeper, aged 18. 

 

At Harlington, Norfolk, aged 24, Ann, the wife of the Rev. J. FISHER, and eldest daughter of Mr. Thomas STAINTON, of Rogerscale, in
this county. 

 

At Annan, aged 76, Mr. SCOTT, sen., of Moffat, teacher of dancing. For the last half century Mr. S. taught that ornamental branch of
education in Dumfries-shire, with great success. And, within 15 hours after his decease, Mrs. SCOTT, his wife. She had gone to Annan
to attend upon her husband during his last illness; when, from fatigue of body and trouble of mind, she sunk under the pressure, in
her 68th year. 

 

At Langholm, Mr. John BEATTIE, landlord of the Royal Oak. His death was occasioned by his having incautiously taken too strong a
doze of laudanum. 

 

Early on the morning of the 17th inst. after a few day's illness, at his residence in Lower Grosvenor-street, London, the Rt. Hon.
Lord Henry Thomas HOWARD, MOLYNEUX HOWARD, Deputy Earl Marshal of England, and brother to his Grace the Duke of Norfolk. His
Lordship represented the city of Gloucester in several Parliaments, and sat in the present Parliament for Steyning. 

 

June 19, in Welbeck-street, aged 51, the Right Hon. Alexander Wentworth, Lord MACDONALD, the representative of the ancient Lord of
the Isles in Scotland, leaving no family. He is succeeded in his title and estates by his next brother, the Hon. Major-Gen. Godfrey
BOSVILLE. 

 

At Marine Cottage, near Ramsey, Isle of Man, Lieut. John SUMMERS, of the 62nd regiment. At Castletown, Mrs. Lucy QUAYLE, relict of
the late John QUAYLE, Esq. At Kirk Michael, Margaret, wife of Mr. Christopher BELL, painter, aged 21. 

 

At St. Mary's, Islington, William STEPHEN, Esq. Advocate, Isle of Man, to Nessy, eldest daughter of Mr. Samuel THOMPSON, of Park
Terrace, Islington.
