At St. Mary's Church, in this city, on Saturday last, Mr. William GRAHAM, of Brampton, to Miss Mary DOBSON, of the parish of St.
Mary, Carlisle. 

 

At Sebergham Church, on Tuesday last, Mr. John PEEL, of Paper Gill, to Miss Ann FERGUSON, Mankan's Hill, Sebergham. 

 

At Penrith, on Thursday last, Mr. Thos. STEWART, to Miss Jane GARDHOUSE. 

 

This morning, at Crosthwaite Church, near Keswick, Mr. Walter ARMSTRONG, widower, to Miss Hannah HOLMES, spinster, both of
Braithwaite. 

 

At Dumfries, on Monday, Mr. James RICHARDSON, draper, to Miss Catherine ROXBURGH. 

 

At Kk. Braddan, Isle of Man, Mr. W. COWLEY, joiner, to Miss Mary M'CAULEY, both of Douglas. Same place, Mr. Thos. GELLING, to Miss
Eliz. CRAINE. Mr. John QUAILE, of Kk. Michael, to Miss Esther CLARK, of Douglas. At Kk. Malew, Mr. John CANNELL, joiner, to Miss

DIED, 

 

Since our last, Mrs. Martha FOWLER, of Annetwell-Street, aged 22. Mrs. Ann SCARROW, of Caldewgate, aged 40. Mrs. Catharine SMITH, of
Denton Mill, 65. 

 

In May, 1823, in America, Mr. Christopher HEBSON. 

 

At Penrith, on Tuesday last, Mrs. Barbara ROBINSON, widow, aged 84. 

 

A few days ago, Gilbert, son of John PONSONBY, Esq., of Barrow House, near Keswick. Also William, son of Mr. Thos. ALLISON, Surgeon,
Keswick. 

 

On Thursday last, much and deservedly respected, Mrs. Jane BANKS, of Shoelickrarow, Keswick, after a long and painful illness, which
she bore with Christian fortitude, aged 75 years. 

 

At Keswick, Mrs. GRAVE, wife of Mr. John GRAVE, in her 87th year. 

 

Sunday morning, at Cockermouth, at an advanced age, Mr. William HODGSON, tanner. 

 

At Egremont, Mr. William MAYSON, stone mason. At Wilton, near Egremont, Mrs. Frances SUDDART, relict of the late Mr. John SUDDART,
aged 67. 

 

At Maryport, on the 19th inst., Elizabeth, the wife of Mr. William HURST. 

 

On Saturday last, in College-street, Whitehaven, Mrs. Fanny ROBSON, aged 64, relict of Mr. James ROBSON, formerly of the Buck's
Head, there. 

 

On the 15th inst., in London, of a paralytic stroke, in his 49th year, Mr. William BARWISE, a native of Kirklinton, near this city;
and supervisor at Warrington, where he was interred on the 22nd, only a few days after his youngest daughter, aged 20 months. He had
been sometime employed by the Honourable Commissioners of Excise, as first Wine General; and, in all probability, would have
attained high distinction in the profession, his pleasing manners, christian conduct, and strict integrity, gaining him great and
universal respect; and he was followed to the grave by many sorrowing friends and townsmen, who, whilst they adore the all-wise
Author of this awful visitation, deeply sympathise with an afflicted widow and seven surviving children on their irreparable loss.
