January 18, at Euremire, Ulswater, the Lady of John Charles BRISTOW, Esq. of a daughter. 

 

The wife of Leonard HODGSON, farmer, at Swetton-Dalagill, in the parish of Kirby Malzeard, near Masham, Yorkshire, was on the 16th
October, 1822, delivered of three remarkably fine boys. The same woman was on Christmas day, 1823, delivered of three fine girls, so
that in the short space of one year and ten weeks, she gave birth to six fine children, five of whom are now living.

At St. Mary's church, in this city, on Thursday last, Mr. W. S. DENTON, to Sarah, third daughter of Mr. Paul NIXSON. 

 

At Penrith, on Thursday last, Mr. James BROOKS, shop-keeper, to Mrs. Jane STOCKDALE, both of Penrith. 

 

Saturday morning at St. James's Whitehaven, Mr. Thomas BECK, to Miss DODGSON.-At Trinity chapel, Mr. John DIXON, to Miss Jane
LANGLAND.-Mr. Alex. COOK, to Miss Isabella BELL. [According to FamilySearch, Alexander COOK and Isabella BELL were married on 29 Dec
1823 at Holy Trinity, Whitehaven.] 

 

At Gosforth, Mr. Isaac MAWSON, of Irton, to Miss Ruth TURNER, of Santon Bridge. 

 

At Lorton, Mr. Joseph ELLERAY, draper, Keswick, to Miss ROBINSON, of Lorton. 

 

At Annan, Mr. Joseph JOHNSTONE, organist, Greysouthen, to Mrs. Nancy WILSON, an inmate of one of the Alms-houses, Great Broughton. 

 

At Ulverstone, Mr. Nicholas WALKER, to Miss Elizabeth SYKES, both of Hollowmire. 

 

At Harrington, Thomas FAIRY, carpenter, to Miss Betty GAMBLES.

Elizabeth HERON, of Haydon Bridge, near Hexham, Northumberland. 

 

On the 29th ult. at Hamburg, by the Rev. Richard BAKER, M. A. before Henry CANNING, Esq. his Majesty's Consul General for the Hanse
Towns, Thos. SLATER, jun. Esq. formerly of Manchester, to Ellen, only daughter of Thos. TATLOCK, Esq. of Altona. 

 

At Kirk Marown, Isle of Man, Mr. John CANNON, to Miss Jane KELLY.-At Kirk Braddan, Mr. William CORRIN, saddler, to Miss Jane CALLOW,
both of Douglas.-Same place, Mr. James KNEALE, to Miss Ann QUINE. Mr. Robert CALLIN, to Mrs. Eleanor KELLY. 

 

At Petersburgh, on 17th December, according to the rites of the Greek church, the Grand Duke Michael, to the Princess of Wirtemberg.
