Hi listers,

This morning March 8, I watched the free webinar "Researching in Cumberland and Westmorland by Joe Saunders”.  He’s on The UK National Archives’ list of Independent Researchers and he’s a Ph.D. History candidate at York University.  He’s apparently currently doing a one-place study on Crosby Garrett.

The webinar is available FREE (on the Legacy Family Tree Webinars site) until March 15.  Saunders mentioned many links.  He complimented both Cumbria Archive Service and Cumbria FHS.  There is a print syllabus, but you have to be a member of Legacy Family Tree Webinars to receive it.  

I’m not, so I just copied down the links mentioned, as I could.

(NOTE: It took a couple of minutes  - to count 2.30 - to get through administrative things before Saunders started speaking.)
