Steve,

The Pacquet is a four page broadsheet paper and there is extensive coverage 
of the events in the Americas within the paper, both from the London 
perspective and the American via letters and American newspaper reports.

What finds its way into the "Whitehaven" column is a small selection that, I 
assume, the editor thinks will be interest to his local readers. The ten or 
so, vey rich, Whitehaven Merchants with a major interest in the new world 
will have their own sources; some of which will appear in the paper.

If you should have any queries concerning your Whitehaven Pearsons, then I 
might be able to be come assistance.
