At Kk. Braddan, Isle of Man, under special licence, Barton TENISON, Esq. Captain of the 1st. or Royal Regiment of Foot, to Emily,
only daughter of George BYNE, Esq., of Douglas.
At St. James's Church [Piccadilly, Westminster, Middlesex] on Tuesday, at eleven o'clock, A. M., Lord John Frederic THYNNE led to
the hymeneal altar the accomplished Miss BERESFORD. The Marchioness of Waterford, and many of the other different branches of the
family, were present.
DIED,
On Tuesday last, at Chalk Cottage, near Carlisle, after a short illness, Mr. William NIXON, architect and surveyor, aged 64. The
death of Mr. NIXON will be a loss to the county as well as to his numerous relatives and friends. He was superintendant of the new
works at the gaol; and had on hands many other concerns of considerable public importance. In short, he was a respectable and most
valuable member of society; blending with the more strongly-marked features of his character, suavity of manners, and moral
rectitude, and Christian meekness. Take him all in all, it will be long before we look upon his like again.
In this city, since our last, Mr. John HETHERINGTON, Caldewgate, aged 29. Mr. William HETHERINGTON, Willow-holme, aged 17. Mr.
George BARNES, Shaddongate, advanced in years. Isabella, daughter of Mr. Charles KING, of the Coffee-House, aged 22 months.
On Monday last, in Annetwell-street, John, son of Mr. David SPEDDING, butcher, aged 14 months.
At Wigton, on Saturday last, Mr. James FISHER, aged 46: he was 22 years ostler at the George Inn, in Wigton.-At Bolton, on Friday
se'nnight, Mrs. A. BURTON, aged 82.-At Woodraw, near Wigton, Mrs. E. BARNES, relict of the late Mr. Jos. BARNES.

At Dumfries, on Thursday, the 26th ult. Mr. Samuel NEILSON, eldest son of Mr. Robert NEILSON.
At Millbank, in the parish of Troqueer, on the 27th ult. John BARKER, Esq. late surgeon, Dumfries, in the 65th year of his age.
At Kendal, Mr. R. SPEIGHT, of the Elephant Inn, aged 56; and on the next day, Eleanor, his daughter, aged 24: both of pulmonary
consumption. Same place, Christopher, son of Mr. C. GIBSON, 17. At Kirkby-Lonsdale, Mr. R. GOAD, 75: and on the succeeding day, his
aged wife.
Aged 89, Mr. Richard BURDSALL, of York, well known in this and the neighbouring counties, as a very popular local preacher among the
Wesleyan Methodists.
At Ballasalla, Isle of Man, Mr. Arthur BRIDSON, aged 75. At Kk. Marown, Mr. Philip FARGHER, at of the advanced age 96 [sic].
Feb. 11, at Brae-Man, the venerable Highlander, Patrick GRANT, to whom his Majesty, two years ago, graciously granted a pension of
one guinea per week, in the 111th year of his age.
Death of Eugene BEAUHARNOIS.-The Moniteur announces the death of Eugene BEAUHARNOIS, Prince of Eichstadt, which took place at
Munich, at four o'clock in the morning of the 21st inst. Prince Eugene was the son of the Empress Josephine, by her first husband.
