On the 16th inst. the Lady of Henry FARRER, Esq. of Rockliff-Hall, of a Son.
In Bond-street, Newcastle, on the 5th inst. Mary BLAKEY, wife of James BLAKEY, of a son, being the fourth child she has borne within
12 months, having had three sons at a birth on the 8th Sept. 1822.

At St. Mary's Church, in this city, on Saturday last, Mr. James FLETCHER, to Miss Margaret COOPER.-On Monday, Mr. B. WILLIAMS, to

At Moresby. Mr. John HADWIN, of Croft Morris, to Miss USHER, of Sillibanks.
At the Friends' Meeting-house, near Sedbergh, John, only son of Mr. Charles HOLME, of Birks, to Margaret, daughter of Mr. T. HEADLY,
grocer, Sedbergh.
At Harrington, Mr. Robert CANNON, mariner, to Miss FEARON, only daughter of Capt. Joseph FEARON.
At Cockermouth, Mr. Jonathan WOOD, to Miss Ann MAKIM.
At Scarbro', Major-Gen. SEDDON, of Durham, to Mrs. METHOLD, of the same place, relict of Henry METHOLD, Esq. and sister of Sir
Robert JOHNSON EDEN.
At St. George's, Hanover-square, on the 11th inst. the celebrated Romeo COATES, to Miss ROBINSON, a lady of considerable personal
attractions, as well as a large fortune. Mr. COATES wore his splendid Court dress, with his inestimable sword. The lady was
elegantly attired also. The party left the residence of Mr. COATES, No. 23, Dover-street, Piccadilly, in a carriage and four, the
postillions wearing white satin jackets and favours. At the church they were met by their friends, in six travelling carriages.
On Monday, the 8th inst. at St. Mary's, Gloucester, Sir Anthony LECHMERE, Bart. of the Rhyd in the County of Worcester, to Miss
VILLIERS, bar-maid at the Hop-pole Inn in the City of Worcester. The fair bride is just out of her teens, whilst the worthy
bridegroom is in his 62d year, having a numerous family by a former wife, most of whom are daughters, unmarried, and upwards of
thirty years of age. He was the third son of Edmund LECHMERE, Esq. of Hanley Castle, who repeatedly represented the County of
Worcester.
DIED.
On Tuesday last, in Caldewgate, Mr. Thos. SIMPSON, bricklayer and plasterer, aged 56. His death was very sudden. He had been at work
in the forenoon, came home, and took his dinner; and, feeling drowsy, went to lie down a little on his bed, telling his son that he
would soon follow him to the place of his employment; but in a short time was found by his daughter (who thought she heard him
breathe more loudly than common) in the agonies of death. He died of apoplexy.
Since our last, Mrs. Mary OLIPHANT, of Castle-street, aged 90 years.
At Penrith, on the 12th inst. Mr. Robt. RAWES, 23.
In Nov. last, at Falmouth, Jamaica, Montgomery HEATLY, Esq. nephew of Capt. HEATLY, of Whitehaven.
At Workington, Mary, the wife of Mr. W. BOWMAN, grocer, aged 28.
At his house in Upper Guildford-street, London, aged 76, John COWLEY, Esq. a native of Cockermouth.
At Cockermouth, in his 80th year, Mr. John RITSON.
At Keswick, Mrs. Elizabeth FLEMING, aged 71.
At Hexham, on the 18th instant, by the Rev. Thos. SCURR, Mr. Nevison LORAINE, skinner and glover, to Miss WHITFIELD, both of Hexham.
On the 2d inst. at Aston, Warwickshire, in the 80th year of his age, the Rev. Benjamin SPENCER, LL. D., for 52 years Vicar of that
parish; also Rector of Hatton, Lincolnshire.
On the 2nd inst. the Rev. Thomas WINSTANLEY, D. D. Principal of St. Alban-hall, Camden Professor of Ancient History, and Laudean
Professor of Arabic in the University of Oxford, and Prebendary of St. Paul's.
At Mainshead of Terregles, on the 9th inst., Thos. HERBERTSON, Esq. of Garcrogo.
On Sunday the 14th inst. at an advanced age, at Cobham Lodge, Surrey, General BUCKLEY, Governor of Pendennis Castle.
At his seat in Glostershire, a few days ago, of water on the brain, David RICARDO, Esq. the celebrated political economist, and M. P
for Portarlington.
