DIED, 

 

It is with deep regret we announce the death of Sir Richard RICHARDS, Knt. Chief Baron of the Court of Exchequer. The Learned Baron
died on Tuesday morning at half past ten o'clock, at his house in Great Ormond-street, London, in his 71st year. He had been long in
a declining state of health. 

 

On Sunday last, in Botchardgate, Mr. Matthew ROOME, aged 53 years. 

 

On Tuesday morning last, at Holme-House, in the parish of Wetheral, Mrs. WANNOP, aged 76 years; and thirty-six hours afterwards, her
husband, Mr. Thomas WANNOP, aged 79. They had been married and lived most happily together upwards, of fifty years. What is
singular, both died of inflammation of the bowels, brought on by cold; and both were yesterday buried in one grave; the funeral most
numerously attended. 

 

At Carleton, near Penrith, on Thursday, Mr. Henry PARKER, yeoman, aged 70. 

 

At Penrith, on Thursday, Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. James REDMAYNE, aged 20. 

 

At Whitehaven-Aged 73, Mrs. BAISBROWN. In Strand-street, Thomas, son of Mr. John KIRKBRIDE, clock-maker. Mrs. Mary EDGAR, aged 48,
mistress of the poor-house. Mrs. Christian MITCHELL, Charles-street, aged 83. 

 

On Saturday last, at the Schoose Farm, Workington, Mr. Darcy CURWEN, jun. aged 28. 

 

At Maryport, on the 7th inst., Mr. Joseph GILL, tallow-chandler, aged 70. 

 

On Monday last, at Belfast, very suddenly, Mr. Jeremiah WILSON, captain of the brig Brothers of Maryport, advanced in years. 

 

At Hobart's Town, Van Dieman's Land, on the 20th of February last, Mr. Daniel Watson STALKER, second son of Mr. Joshua STALKER, late
of Maryport. 

 

Mrs. JACKSON, relict of the late Alderman David JACKSON, of Kendal, at an advanced age. Mr. Nathan TYSON, for many years a
respectable grocer of that town, aged 82. After a lingering illness, Mrs. Margt. AIREY, of Scarr Foot Mills, near Kendal, aged 90. 

 

Last week, Mary Ann, wife of Thomas B. LOCKE, Esq., banker, of Hull, and second daughter of the late Benjamin WINTER, Esq., of
Leeds. A few days ago, this amiable lady, under the influence of a fright, occasioned by an unmanageable horse, fell backward from
an open carriage in which she was riding, near that place, when the teeth of the comb in her hair entered her head, and inflicted so
serious a wound as to occasion her death, at the early age of 29 years.

The 30th ult. suddenly, at his seat, Pinnacle Hill, Roxburghshire, Robert ELLIOT, Esq. 

 

At Dumfries, Mr. R. LEGGAT, gardener, aged 80: he died in bed during night, unperceived by his wife. On his passage to New York, Mr.
T. ARMSTRONG, late wine-looper of Dumfries. In Jamaica, Mr. C. PHILLIPS, late of Dumfries. At Maxwelltown, Mr. W. KIRK, writer. 

 

At Smallrigg, near Lochmaben, on Sunday, Mr. Wm. GRAHAM. 

 

At Gatehouse, Francis TIDDY, Esq. agent for the Cally copper-mine company. 

 

At Gubhill, parish of Closeburn. Elizabeth, relict of the late Mr. W. MAZIES, farmer, Dollart. 

 

Of apoplexy, at the Hague, Lord Athlone. 

 

At his Chambers, in the Inner Temple, London, the Hon. Frederick EDEN, Barrister-at-law, eldest son of the Right Hon. Lord Henley. 

 

In Kirk Marown, Isle of Man, of a rapid consumption, brought on by a severe cold, Mr. Paul QUAYLE, aged 32 years. Suddenly, at
Douglass, in the 29th year of his age, Mr. William CAIN, teacher of the Daily and Sunday School there. Same place, in the prime of
life, Mary Anne Bickerton COLQUITT, wife of Samuel Martin COLQUITT, Esq. Captain R. N., after a severe and long protracted illness.
Same day, at the house of Mr. Thomas GELLING, ironmonger, after a few hours illness, Miss Hannah JORDAN, aged 17 years. In
Castle-street, at the advanced age of 87 years, William STOWELL, Esq. father of Mr. Kermotte STOWELL, wine-merchant. After a
lingering illness, at Ballafreer, Kk. Marown, Mr. John KEWLEY, aged 23 years. 

 

At Yarmouth, Luke WALLER, in his 105th year.
