Joseph DONALD, aged 17, to Isabella HURST, both of Dearham. His twin brother was married, a few weeks ago, at the same place. 

 

At Kendal, Mr. Wm. HARRISON, to Miss Agnes KNOWLES; Mr. John CARRADICE, to Miss Eliz. HEAP. 

 

At Appleby, Mr. William HIGGINS, of Ulverston, printer, to Miss Elizabeth BELL. 

 

At Kirkaldy, Fifeshire, on the 14th inst., the Rev. Edward IRVING, A. M., of the Caledonian Church, London, to Isabella, eldest
daughter of the Rev. Mr. MARTIN, Kirkaldy. 

 

At Kimbolton, on the 11th inst., Evan BAILLIE, Esq. of Dochfour, to Lady Georgiana MONTAGU, daughter of the Duke of Manchester.

On Monday, the 20th inst. as [sic] her father's house, in this city, after an illness borne with exemplary resignation, in the 19th
year of her age, Mary, daughter of John FORSTER, Esq. 

 

On the 22nd inst. at Heathlands, parish of Rockcliff, Margaret, eldest daughter of the late John FORSTER, Esq. in the 44th year of
her age. 

 

Since our last, Mrs. Barbara MONKHOUSE, of Caldewgate, aged 33.-Mr. John KELLET, aged 53. 

 

At Penrith, on Thursday, Lancelot, eldest son of Mrs. HOLMES, of the Townhead, aged 16. 

 

John, the son of Mr. Robert CURWEN, ironmonger, in the Market Place, Whitehaven, in his 4th year. Same place, Mr. James GOULDING,
Mark Lane, aged 75. Mr. William HARDY, at an advanced age. The deceased was ostler at the Black Lion Inn, in that town, for nearly
half a century. In Church-street, Mrs. RICHARDSON, wife of Mr. Jas. RICHARDSON, plasterer. 

 

At Bath, Samuel BRISTOW, Esq. late of Whitehaven, in the 65th year of his age. 

 

At Harrington, Jane JOHNSTON, aged 25. 

 

At Bank-end, in Lamplugh, Mr. Jonathan CROSTHWAITE, aged 70 years. 

 

At Stubb Place, near Bootle, in his 76th year, Mr. Samuel GOWITH. 

 

On the 9th inst., Harriet Margaret SALISBURY, daughter of Edward SALISBURY, Esq. of Belvidere Cottage, near Milnthorpe. 

 

At Dumfries, Elizabeth, relict of the late Mr. John BROWN, merchant, Dumfries. Agnes, wife of Mr. John STEWART, foreman, to Messrs.
GREGAN and CREIGHTON, cabinet-makers. Agnes, wife of Mr. Matthew WILSON, aged 69. 

 

At Newfield, Thornhill, of a brain fever, Mr. James NIVEN, student of medicine, son of Mr. Wm. NIVEN, farmer, Newfield. 

 

At Batavia, on the 9th of January last, in the 22nd year of his age, Captain Andrew AFFLECK, of the East India ship Vrow Helen; a
native of Dumfries. 

 

At Annan, on Friday, Mr. James BEATTIE, at an advanced age. 

 

On Tuesday last, at Ashurst, Herts, the Earl of Bridgewater, in the 71st year of his age. He is succeeded by his brother, Francis
Henry, who is a dignitary of the church. 

 

On the 12th inst., Mrs. Ann WOOD, wife of Mr. George WOOD, of Northallerton, gardener. She lost her wedding ring from off her finger
when weeding in the garden about two or three years after her marriage: and the same ring was found in the heart of a turnip in
1795, after being lost for 10 or 12 years.
