At Armathwaite Castle, on Saturday the 1st of March, the Lady of the Rev. J. R. HUNTON, of a daughter: the child lived only a few
hours. 

 

MARRIED. 

 

On Saturday last, at St. Mary's church, in this city, Mr. Thomas SINCLAIR, to Miss Margaret MOORE, both of Caldewgate. 

 

At Penrith, on Wednesday last, Mr. Thomas GRAHAM, miller, to Miss Elizabeth BURROW. 

 

On Monday last, at Crosthwaite church, near Keswick, Mr. J. GIBSON, of Millbeck, under Skiddaw, to Miss Mary CLARK, of Keswick. 

 

At Annan, Mr. PENRICE, to Miss GLAISTER, both of Skinburness. 

 

At Staindrop church, Lieut.-Col. MEYRICK, of the 3d. Guards, to the Right Hon. Lady Laura VANE, third daughter of the Right Hon. the
Earl of Darlington. 

 

DIED. 

 

Since our last, Mrs. Mary SCOTT, St. Cuthbert's lane, aged 66. Mrs. Hannah GRAHAM, King's Arms lane, aged 67. Mrs. Mary DUCKETT,
King's Arms lane, aged 70. Mrs. Mary IRVING, of Broad Guards, aged 76. Mr. Patrick FLAHERTY, of Rickergate, aged 35. 

 

On Wednesday last, aged 81, Mr. J. LOWDEN, of Hutton-End.-Same day, at Dalston, Mr. Robert BARNES, brewer, aged 33 years. 

 

On the 24th ult., at Sebergham-Brow-foot, much and deservedly respected, Mrs. DENTON, wife of Mr. DENTON, surgeon, of that place. 

 

At Penrith, on Sunday last, Mr. Thomas LITTLE, husbandman.-Same day and place, Ann, wife of Mr. John ROBINSON, timber-merchant, aged
76 years. 

 

On Friday the 28th ult., at Raison-Hall, Ousby, Mr. Archibald LITTLE, aged 75 years. 

 

Saturday last, at Egremont, Miss Jane ARMSTRONG, of the scarlet fever, aged 24 years. 

 

At Workington, Mr. William FLETCHER, aged 57. Same place, Mr. William MILLIGAN aged 18. 

 

At Maryport, Mrs. Ann SOUTHWARD, aged 66 years. Same place, Mr. Andrew M'KERLIE, tidewaiter. 

 

On the 22nd ult., Miss Mary EDMONDSON, linen draper, of Keswick, aged 28. Miss Jane SOWERBY, aged 26. 

 

On the 25th ult., at Keswick, Mr. Thomas DAWSON, aged 22 years. This young man lost the use of both legs when he was five years old,
and was never afterwards able to walk; nor did he often leave his room. He possessed superior talent, clearly evinced by his
progress in learning, though relying solely on himself; he never would consent to have a teacher. 

 

Lately, at Manchester, Wm. DYMOCK, late serjeant of the 6th Dragoon Guards. 

 

On Tuesday, in London, aged 64, C. DRUMMOND, Esq the Banker. He died of the effects of an operation for the stone. 

 

At Brown Hill, Broughton in Furness, Richard, the youngest son of Major GILPIN, in his 19th year. 

 

On the 27th Feb. at her house in Liverpool, Eleanor, wife of Joseph HOSKINS, Esq. and eldest sister of the late J. T. SENHOUSE, Esq.
of Calder Abbey, in her 78th year. 

 

Wm. BURDON, Esq. eldest son of Sir Thomas BURDON, of West Jesmond, Northumberland. 

 

On the 30th of December, at Annetta Bay, Jamaica, Captain Isaac BRAITHWAITE, of the brig Harmony, of Harrington. 

 

At Low Furness, in the prime of life, Rachel, the daughter of Mr. John COWARD. 

 

Mrs. THEXTON, wife of the Rev. J. THEXTON, Vicar of Beetham, near Milnthorpe, in the prime of life. 

 

At Burton-in-Kendal, on the 22d ult., in the 67th year of his age, Mr. Thomas CLOUGH. 

 

At Lancaster, aged 40, Miss Sarah WAITHMAN, one of the Society of Friends. 

 

On the 20th ult. at Mr. John MOORE's Bridgewater-street, Liverpool, Mr. John BROWN, aged 17 years, son of Mr. Jas. BROWN,
ship-owner, Workington. This promising young man, whilst engaged in the duties of his perilous avocation at a sail-room, near the
Old Dock, was unfortunately, by check of the tackle-fold, precipitated from a door on the third story into the street; by which
melancholy accident his arm was dreadfully fractured, and his other bodily injuries such as to occasion his premature death. 

 

At Dumfries, on the 28th ult. Thomas GOLDIE, Esq. of Craigmuir. 

 

At Annan Mrs. EWART, wife of James EWART, Esq. youngest daughter of the late John FORREST, Esq. of Oakland. 

 

On the 20th ult. Mr. R. PATERSON, son of Mr. Adam PATERSON, farmer at Mid-Isle, parish of Tongueland. 

 

The Rev. John BARTLAM, of Alcester, Warwickshire, Vicar of Ponteland, Northumberland.
