DEATHS.
Last week, in this city, Mary WILSON, aged 79, and Jane BELL, aged 71, both of Old Grapes Lane.-John M'STAY, of Matthews's Yard,
aged 46.
At Lesson-hall, on Monday last, Mrs. DAND, aged 80.
At Penrith, on Tuesday last, Mary the wife of Thomas MOUNSEY, sexton of Penrith Church, aged 83 years.-Same day, Ann the daughter of
Wm. NOBLE, aged 12 years.
On Monday last, Margaret CHAMBERS, of Maryport, aged 24.
Monday se'nnight, in Scotch-street, Whitehaven, Mr. Allason FOSTER. His remains were interred on Thursday, at Crosthwaite Church,
the burial-place of his maternal ancestors. Many of the principal inhabitants of Keswick and its vicinity, in mourning, met the
hearse at a short distance from the church-gates, and attended the obsequies.
A few days ago, in Scotch-street, Whitehaven, Mr. Isaac FLETCHER, joiner, aged 25.
Saturday se'nnight, in Lowther-street, Whitehaven, after an illness of two years, Jane, the wife of Mr. Abram SELBY, aged 38.
Monday se'nnight, in Marlborough-street, Whitehaven, greatly respected, Mr. Henry BOWES, aged 19 years.
Lately, at West Newton, in Abbey Holm, Mr. CARMALT, a respectable yeoman, at an advanced age, and greatly regretted.
At Dumfries, on the 27th ult. Miss Elizabeth M'MURDO, daughter of the late James M'MURDO, Esq. merchant in Barbadoes.
In Douglas, last week, aged 42, Mr. Thomas CLUCAS, many years an useful and generally respected druggist of that town. His remains,
accompanied by a long train of respectable and mourning relatives and friends, were deposited at Kirk Marown; and what added a
degree of afflicting solemnity to the scene, was the accompaniment of seven of his children, five of whom were, on this melancholy
occasion, for the first time publicly baptised and received according to the rites of the Established Church.
