On Sunday, the 24th inst. at the house of her sister, in Fisher-Street, after a long and severe illness, Mrs. BELL, relict of the
late Richard BELL, Esq. of Glasgow.

BIRKET, Caldewgate, aged 85.

At Penrith, on Tuesday last, Mr. Thomas LEWIS, Bailiff to the Duke of Devonshire for the Honor of Penrith, aged 70 years. Same place

In Scotch Street, Whitehaven, on Saturday, Mr. James KAY, formerly master of a vessel, aged 80 years. In Queen Street, Jane, wife of
Mr. David CORLETT, aged 57. In George Street, aged 87, Mrs. S. PROUD.

In Douglas, Isle of Man, a few days ago, aged 60 years, Dr. Chas. CHRISTIAN, brother of Mr. Professor CHRISTIAN, Chief Justice of
the Island of Ely.-Same place, aged 54 years, Mrs. Ann CREER, wife of Mr. Wm. CREER, joiner. 

 

On Monday the 11th instant, at Eccleston, near Garstang, Thomas BARROW, Esq. R. A. aged 84, formerly a portrait painter of great
eminence in the metropolis. 

 

At Aberdeen, in the 74th year of his age, Patrick COPELAND, LL. D. Professor of Natural Philosophy in the Marischal College and
