At Brislington church, the Rev. James GRAY, A.M., of Queen's College, Oxford, to Catherine, daughter of Joshua POWELL, Esq. of
Brislington. 

 

At Kirk Braddan, Isle of Man, Mr. Thos. REDFERN, to Miss Elizabeth BLAKE.-At Lezayre church, Simon LITTLE, Esq. surgeon, late
student at Edinburgh, to Mary, only daughter of the late John GARRETT, Esq. of Ballabrooye. 

 

At Wenwick [sic], Richard CARTWRIGHT, Esq. of Bloomsbury square, London, to Miss Anne CLAUGHTON, of Myddelton-house, parish of
Winwick, Lancashire.

On Thursday last, in Ferguson's-lane, English-street, aged 67, Mr. Joseph SMITH. 

 

On Wednesday last, at the hospital in Finkle-street, after a short illness, Serjeant-Major Robert DANIELS, of the 3d Dragoon Guards,
aged 47 years. He was buried on Thursday, at St. Mary's, with military honours. 

 

At Penrith, on the 1st inst. Margaret, daughter of Mr. John ARMSTRONG, tailor, aged 19.-Same day, Mrs. Elizabeth WILSON, aged
52.-Same day, Ann wife of Mr. Anthony SMITH, woodmonger, aged 78. 

 

At Eamont Bridge, near Penrith, on the 4th inst., Mr. John BELL, millwright, aged 44. 

 

At Keswick, on Friday week, Mr. George HODGSON, aged 74 years. Mrs. Grace SANDERS, aged 74 years. Mrs. Elizabeth ROSE, 60 years. 

 

At his house, in Cross Street, Whitehaven, on Wednesday last, Robert BLAKENEY, Esq. in the 64th year of his age, an acting
Magistrate, and Deputy Lieutenant the county [sic]. 

 

Sunday night, in Church-street, Whitehaven, in her 89th year, Mrs. CLEMENTSON, relict of the late Mr. John CLEMENTSON, tobacconist.
The number of her children, grand-children, and great grand children, corresponds with the number of the years of her age.-In
George-street, Mrs. Sarah WARD, aged 71. 

 

On Tuesday week, in the prime of life, Capt. Richard BELL, of the Hope, of Maryport. He was unfortunately struck by the mainboom,
and thrown overboard, when in sight of Maryport. He has left a small family. 

 

At Little Clifton, suddenly, Mr. Richard NIXON, aged 84 years. 

 

At Keswick, Mr. George HODGSON, aged 74 years, formerly steward to the late Dr. BROWNRIGG, of Armathwaite Hall, near Keswick.-Same
place, Mrs. SANDERS, relict of the late Mr. Robert SANDERS, aged 76. 

 

At Durham, aged 84, the Rev. Edw. WALSH, minister of that order of Roman Catholics denominated Jesuits. 

 

On Tuesday last, Cornelius COWARD, coachman to Lady C. FLEMING, of Rydal Hall, aged 37 years. 

 

At Bishopwearmouth, aged 72, Thomas COLLINGWOOD, Esq. M. D. member of the Medical Society, London, Board of Agriculture, and several
other learned institutions, many of which owe their origin to him. He was lineally descended from Sir Daniel COLLINGWOOD, of
Brandon, a branch of the ancient and renowned family of the COLLINGWOODs of Northumberland. During his professional career, of
upwards of half a century, he had been indefatigable, and remarkably successful. His acquaintance with every branch of science was
extensive, as medicine, poetry, agriculture, and even the drama, have at times employed his pen. 

 

At Dumfries, Mr John BAILIFF, sen. aged 63. 

 

At Annan, Margaret, wife of Mr. John JARDINE, cattle-dealer, aged 53. 

 

At Stirling, on the 25th ult. Dr. John FORREST. 

 

In Edinburgh, the Lady of John BLACKWELL, Esq. 

 

At Kirk Michael, Isle of Man, Mr. Robert SCOTLAND, a native of Edinburgh, aged 36. 

 

At Bath, Major-Gen. PROCTOR, of Douglas, in the Isle of Man. 

 

At Bath, Rear-Admiral PUGET, C. B. He sailed round the world with VANCOUVER. 

 

At Moor Park, near Kilworth, Ireland, Stephen, Earl of Mountcashel, in his 63rd year. 

 

On the 10th ult. Mrs. Agnes BECK, of Greyabbey, aged 104 years. She lived in the same house in which she was married, and within
fifty yards of where she born, until she died. 

 

Lately, at Beauphay, France, D. ESPANSEN, aged 108 years and 15 days, a man who was never sick till he died. 

 

Lately, in Italy, Madam Mere, as she used to be styled during her son's reign, the mother of BUONAPARTE. It is said that she was
very rich, and has left her fortune in equal proportions to her children and grand-children.
