61st yearthe bride is about the same age. He receives with her £70,000 ready money, but her Ladyship's property is much more
considerable, as her former husband, the late Sir John SMITH BURGESS, left her the great bulk of his fortune. [The brides surname
should be SMITH-BURGES.]

On Wednesday last, at Scotby, at an advanced age, Ann WALTON, relict of the late Thos. WALTON, of Newcastle, one of the Society of
Friends.
At the beginning of the week, Robert CARSON, of Caldewgate, aged 22 years.
On the 14th of May last, at New Orleans, of the yellow fever, Mr. John Langton LEECH, aged 26 years, eldest son of the Rev. John
Langton LEECH, M. A. vicar of Askham, in the county of Westmorland, and of Brigham, in this county.
Last week, at Dublin, Captain Thomas PALMER, of the Martha, of Whitehaven, aged 35.
The 20th instant, at Workington, Miss Margaret SIMPSON, aged 20.
At Douglas, Isle of Man, Mrs. Jane BLAKE, aged 69, relict of Mr. Peter BLAKE, of the Hague, near Douglas, and formerly of Ennerdale,
