I am concentrating on the Carlisle papers!

Totally different question to the group:  I was reading Wordsworth "The Waggoner" poem.  The main character is Benjamin, circa 1805, as he passed through Wythburn and the Cherry Tree. 

 

Does anyone know if this Benjamin was a real person and what his last name was?

And, like everyone else, I was wondering if I got deleted from emails, so am very happy that Petra is back.  Do you know if you have the Westmoreland Gazette on the list of has been done or will be done in future?
