Scotch-street. 

 

Same day and place, Mr. Thomas ROBINSON, son of Mr. ROBINSON, sadler [sic], Scotch-street, to Miss Mary Ann SLATER, of Shaddongate. 

 

On Sunday last, at same place, Joseph SHECKLEY, to Sarah SINCLAIR. 

 

Wednesday last, at St. Cuthbert's church, Mr. James RUTHERFORD, tailor, English-street, to Miss Margaret HAMILTON,
Blackfriars-street. 

 

At Brampton, on Sunday last, Mr. Joseph PARKER, dyer, to Miss Ann MOFFAT.

DIED. 

 

SUDDEN DEATH.-Yesterday morning, John ROBINSON, 70 years of age, lodging at Mr. W. HARVEY's, pawnbroker, in Botchergate, died in a
very sudden manner. He had been unwell for several days past, but to appearance was considerably better, and took his breakfast on
the morning of his death with a good stomach; in a short time after he was again violently seized, and expired almost immediately. 

 

Sunday last, in Caldewgate, Margaret SMITH, widow, aged 84. 

 

On Monday last, at Damside, Mrs. Ann IRVING, aged 63. 

 

At Penrith, on the 26th ult. Mr. Anthony SOULBY, bookseller, aged 75.-At same place, on Saturday last, Mr. Henry DENT, of Bolton,
Westmorland, aged 67. 

 

At Rose Hill, near Whitehaven, in the tenth year of her age, Isabella, the second daughter of Milham HARTLEY, Esq. 

 

Saturday last, in Whitehaven, (having just completed his 21st year), Wm. PONSONBY, Esq. son of the late Miles PONSONBY, Esq. of
Hail. 

 

At Workington, Capt. Robert SCOTT, late of the Lowther. 

 

At Hunter How, in Ennerdale, Ann, the wife of Mr. J. SANDWITH, in the prime of life. 

 

At Dumfries, on Sunday last, Margaret, wife Mr. James MUIR, horse-dealer.-Mr. M. WILSON, shoemaker, aged 86. 

 

At Carlinwark House, on Tuesday the 23d instant, May, wife of David M'CULLOCH, of Torhouskie. 

 

At Kirkcudbright, on the 21st ult. Archibald BRODIE, Esq. writer in Edinburgh. 

 

On the 14th of January, in Paddington-street, London, John MUSGRAVE, Esq. aged 85, much and deservedly respected; formerly of this
county. 

 

On Saturday, at his house, in Queen-square, Bath, the Right Hon. Samuel Viscount HOOD, at the advanced age of 92, being born in Dec.
1724. [That makes his age 91, not 92.]
