At Penrith, on Sunday last, Mr. Thomas WALTON, to Miss Elizabeth THOMPSON. 

 

At Cross Cannoby, on the 22nd inst. Mr. John GRAHAM, to Miss Elizabeth GRAHAM; and on Wednesday last, Mr. Anthony DIXON, to Miss
Sarah THOMPSON, all of Maryport. 

 

At Whitehaven, Mr. Thomas GORE, to Miss R. HAWKINS, of Queen-street.-Mr. James BENSON, to Mrs. RUDD, widow.-Mr. Ivison ROOKIN, to
Miss Hannah M'KAY, of Queen-street.-Mr. Thomas SHIELDS, to Mrs. HUTCHINSON, widow.-Mr. William WILLIAMSON, to Miss Mary HODGSON, of
King-street. 

 

Last week, at the House of the British Ambassador at Brussels, Lieutenant-Colonel Andrew HAMILTON, Aide-de-Camp to Major-General Sir
Edward BARNES, to Miss ORD, eldest daughter of the late William ORD, Esq. of Fenham, in the county of Northumberland. 

 

DIED. 

 

On Thursday morning last, at the house of her daughter, Mrs. WARWICK, St. Cuthbert's Lane, Mrs. BATY, aged 75. 

 

On Friday se'ennight, at Thursby, Mrs. Jane LOSH, at an advanced age. 

 

On Monday last, at Grinsdale, Mr. Christopher ROBSON, farmer, aged 56 years; a man sincerely revered, and deeply lamented by the
whole village. 

 

This week, at Botcherby, Mr. William BLAYLOCK, at the advanced age of 80 years. 

 

On Thursday, at Wetheral, at the advanced age of 88, Mr. Isaac LAWSON. 

 

Sunday last, at Longtown, aged 22, Miss Margaret TWEDDLE, daughter of Mr. William TWEDDLE, George and Dragon, Rickergate, Carlisle,
much and deservedly respected. 

 

At Penrith, on the 21st inst. Mrs. Elizabeth WHARTON, aged 70.-Same place, on Sunday last, Mrs. Mary DOCKRAY, at the advanced age of
93 years. 

 

On Monday evening, at Whitehaven, Mrs. ROBINSON, wife of Mr. ROBINSON, surgeon. 

 

In Roper-street, Whitehaven, after a long illness, Mrs. THOMPSON, relict of the late Mr. Isaac THOMPSON, of the Custom House, aged
62.-In Quay-street, Ann, the only daughter of Mr. Archibald CREIGHTON, anchor smith, in the 21st year of her age. 

 

A few days ago, at Belfast, Capt. TURNER, of the Tartar of Whitehaven. 

 

At Cockermouth, Mrs. BEAN, widow, in the 71st year of her age. Her death was occasioned by one of those accidents, of late years so
very frequent; her cloaths catching fire. 

 

At West Newton, near Allonby, Mrs. Mary TEMPLE, widow, in the 84th year of her age. 

 

At Great Broughton, near Cockermouth, Mr. George WHITTAKER, in the 65th year of his age, greatly respected. 

 

On the 10th January, 1816, at Port Henderson, Jamaica, Kenneth MACKENZIE, Esq. only son of George MACKENZIE, Esq. late of Rosehall,
near Dumfries. 

 

At Dumfries, on Saturday last, Catherine, wife of Mr. John PROFFIT, grocer. 

 

Lord Charles Beauchamp KERR, son of the late, and brother to the present Marquis of Lothian. His Lordship had been long in a weak
declining state, which baffled all medical skill.
