BIRTHS. 

 

On Friday the 8th instant, at Bebside House, Northumberland, the Lady of Joseph FERGUSON, Esq. of a daughter. 

 

The wife of Ewen MACDONALD, near Invergarry, of three daughters. One of them died on the Saturday following; the other two, and the
mother, are doing well. 

 

MARRIED. 

 

On Thursday last, at Arthuret church, by the Rev. Fergus GRAHAM, the Rev. William WADDILOVE, only son of the Dean of Rippon, to
Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Sir James GRAHAM, Bart. of Netherby. 

 

On the 5th inst., at Kirklinton, the Rev. James HOUGH, Chaplain in the Hon. Company's Service at Fort St. George, to Elizabeth,
daughter of the Rev. Thomas PATTINSON, Rector of Kirklinton. 

 

Sunday last, at St. Mary's, in this city, Henry BELL, to Mary ROBERTS. 

 

At Penrith, on the 11th inst., Mr. William GRAHAM, to Miss Mary DIXON; both of Penrith. 

 

At Shap, on Monday, John JOHNSON, coach driver, to Miss ROWLANDSON; both of that place. 

 

At Cross Canonby:-On the 26th Feb. Mr. John HOGAN, mariner, to Miss Mary LITTLE.-On the 10th inst., Capt. William TWENTYMAN, to Miss
Mary BELL.-On the 11th inst., Mr. Thomas THOMPSON, mariner, to Miss Mary DAWSON: all of Maryport. 

 

At Egremont, Mr. Fletcher BONE, of Sellafield, to Isabella, daughter of Capt. BONE, of Workington.-At Beckermont, Mr. John
STEPHENSON, to Miss Jane GREARS.-At Workington, Mr. FOSTER, bookseller, to Miss DAWSON.-At Gretna, Mr. James BELL, to Miss R.
IVINSON, both of Wigton.-Same place, Mr. Wm. WEST, to Miss LAVERICH, both of Brampton. 

 

At St. Matthew's, Bethnal-green, Mr. J. A. WALKER, of Oxford-street, to Margaret, only daughter of Mr. Robert LAMBERT, of
Berwick-upon-Tweed. 

 

At Edinburgh, on the 1st inst. Mr. Henry DUNCAN, sen. aged 60, to Miss MUNRO, aged 20. The venerable bridegroom has had the
satisfaction of [   ]ing all his children married, and 31 of their offspring all doing well. 

 

At Lockerbie, on the 11th inst., Mr. John PATERSON, joiner, to Elspeth DEANS. Elspeth has now her fourth husband-and what is very
remarkable, the two last were, at one time, married to two sisters. 

 

A few days ago, at Middlewich, Mr. LANTERN, a youth of 82, to Miss Sally JACKSON, a buxom lass of 84! In the procession to the
Temple of Hymen, they were followed by the bride's maid, a fine girl of 70, and were splendidly bedizened with white ribbons. 

 

On the lands of Castletown Conyers, Ireland, Catharine EAGER, aged 92, to Edward FITZGERALD, aged 42; the bride, who has been
bedridden for years, was obliged to be conveyed in a carriage to the house of her spouse.
