On Monday last, at Dalston, the lady of Joseph RICHARDSON, Esq. of a son and heir. 

 

At Glenæ House, near Dumfries, on Monday, the Lady of Capt. Hamilton MAXWELL, of a son. 

 

Last week, in Westminster, a soldier's wife of four boys; two of whom, with the mother, are living and likely to do well.

On Sunday, in this city, Mr. Joseph SWAN, to Miss PATTINSON, only daughter of Mr. J. PATTINSON, of this place. 

 

On Tuesday last, in this city, Mr. Edward ROBINSON, of the Crown inn, Botchergate, to Miss Mary M'VITIE. 

 

At Brampton, on the 14th inst. Mr. Thomas HENDERSON, Irthington, to Miss M. WILLIAMSON, of the former place. 

 

Tuesday se'nnight, at Crosthwaite church, Mr. John JACKSON, to Mrs. WOOD, of the Queen's Head inn, Keswick. 

 

Thursday last, at Workington, Mr. Jacob ROBINSON, of Seaton, to Miss MARTIN, of the former place. 

 

On Thursday week, at Annan, Mr. Thomas BLAYLOCK, of Greenrow, Cumberland, to Miss Tabitha SAUL, "a fair Friend;" daughter of Mr.
Joseph SAUL, of Greenrow. 

 

On Monday se'nnight, at Dornock (by the Rev. N. SLOAN), Mr. James HARKNESS, to Miss Margaret ANDERSON, of Dornock Manse. 

 

At Annan, last week, Mr. ROBISON, of the Buck inn, to Miss Nancy THORBURN, of that place. 

 

At Kirtleton, Dumfries-shire, on the 5th curt. Hugh DOIG HUTCHISON, Esq. of Southfield, Renfrewshire, to Charlotte Hughes, daughter
of David NIVE [sic – should be NIVEN], Esq. of Kirtleton. 

 

Monday, at Newcastle, the Rev. Robert CLARK, of Sherburn-house, county of Durham, to Mary, daughter of Mrs. GRAY, of Newcastle. 

 

Same day and place, Mr. James HORSELEY, draper, to Miss WIDDRINGTON, daughter of the late Mr. Robert WIDDRINGTON, of Newcastle. 

 

At Edinburgh, on the 6th curt. William MACKINTOSH, Esq. formerly in the medical service of the East India Company, to Jane, second
daughter to James JOLLIE, Esq. Clerk to the Signet. 

 

DIED. 

 

On Saturday last, in this city, aged 88, Mrs. Susannah Maria MOSLEY, relict of Walter Aiton MOSLEY, Esq. of the Mere, Staffordshire.


 

Saturday, at Crosthwaite, near Keswick, Mrs. DENTON, wife of the Rev. Isaac DENTON, L. L. B.; aged 56. 

 

Thursday week, at Egremont, Mr. WATTERS, a Lieut. in the Whitehaven Local Militia. 

 

At Workington, on Thursday, Mrs. SCROGGINS. 

 

In Whitehaven, on Wednesday week, Mr. Thos. TODD. 

 

Sunday, at Parton, near Whitehaven, Mrs. GRAHAM, aged 47. 

 

At the New Houses, near that place, on Saturday, Mr. Henry MOSSOP, aged 66. 

 

At Halton (N. B.) on the 4th inst. Mr. John IRVING, farmer, aged 58.—He has left a disconsolate widow and eight children. 

 

On Wednesday week, at Dumfries, Miss Charlotte HYSLOP, daughter of Mr. W. HYSLOP, architect. 

 

Tuesday week, at same place, Miss Margaret DALZELL, daughter of Mr. James DALZELL, farmer in Myers, parish of Durisdeer; aged 32. 

 

A few days ago, in London, Mr. Wm. NICHOLSON, the establisher of the Philosophical Journal.
