Sunday, in Newcastle, Eleanor, wife of Matthew REED, joiner, of three boys and one girl; all the former of whom dead, but the girl
and mother are likely to do well. What is remarkable, this woman has had 10 children at 4 births in 4½ years.

At Wigton, on Saturday last, Mr. DOWSON, of Saltcots, Holm Cultram, to Miss Mary HEWETSON, of Wigton.
On Saturday last, Mr. Thomas WILSON, wine and spirit merchant, to Mrs. CANNON, both of Penrith.
Lately, at Kirkoswald, Mr. Joseph WHARTON, of that place, joiner and house-carpenter, to Agnes, daughter of Mr. Marmaduke

Thursday, in English-street, aged 19, Richard WALLACE, much lamented.
On Wednesday last, of a lingering disorder, which she bore with truly Christian fortitude, Mrs. Elizabeth SIMPSON, of Caldewgate,
aged 60.
Lately, in this city, Mrs. BOWMAN, relict of the late Mr. BOWMAN, cabinet maker, advanced in life.
On Monday last, at Brough, near this city, aged 26, Ann, eldest daughter of Mr. John RICKERBY, of that place.
At Rockliff, on Sunday last, aged 87, Mrs. Margaret HINDE.
Lately, at Outhwaite, near Kirkoswald, Mr. Jonathan TALLENTIRE, aged 69; a man whose conduct throughout life rendered him justly
respected.
On Monday last, at Wigton, Mrs. Eliz. ELLIOT, widow, aged 71, late of Old Carlisle; mother of Mr. Wm. ELLIOT, nursery and seedsman,
Newcastle, respected throughout life.
At Wigton, on the 20th ult. Mr. John TINDLE, in the prime of life.
At Wigton, on Tuesday, Miss Betty LIVOCK, milliner, aged 33; much respected.
The 21st ult. at Waverton, near Wigton, Miss Martha BROWN, after a long and painful illness, which she bore with Christian
resignation; aged 18 years.
Lately, at Abbey-holm, Mr. George WISE, blacksmith. This man, though 96 years of age, struck with the great hammer, along with his
grandson, in turning of four horse shoes at four heats, a little before his death.
On the 28th ult. at Penrith, Miss Frances CLARKE, aged 31.
On Sunday last, at same place, Mary, the wife of Mr. Wm. HARRISON, aged 59.
On Tuesday last, Miss Hannah MOUNTATE, of Penrith, aged 17.
At Kirkby Lonsdale, on Saturday last, Mr. Wm. DENT, of the White Sheaf inn, aged 66.
Tuesday se'nnight, in Whitehaven, aged 64, Mr. John SMITH, weaver.
Saturday last, in same place, Mr. Christopher THOMPSON, sail-maker.
Sunday, in same place, Jane, wife of Mr. Geo. JACKSON, tanner, advanced in years.
Monday se'nnight, aged 73, in Kendal, Jane, widow of the late Mr. Robert CLARK, of Whitehaven.
Tuesday se'nnight, at same place, aged 90, Mrs. Agnes BOWE.
Wednesday se'nnight, in Newcastle, Miss Mary COLLINGWOOD, eldest sister of the late Lord COLLINGWOOD.
