DIED.
At Langholm, on Wednesday last, Mrs. YOUNG, wife of Mr. Walter YOUNG, and mother to Messrs. YOUNG, drapers in this city; much
respected-aged 72.
On Saturday last, Mary, wife of Mr. John BARNES, of Penrith, aged 63.
Same day and place, Mrs. GRIEVES, aged 68.
At Crosby, near Maryport, on Thursday last, Mr. R. WILSON, yeoman, at an advanced age much; lamented. [sic]
At Workington, on Saturday last, Mr. Wm. JACKSON, grocer.
Same place, on Monday last, Mrs. Mary HASTING.
Lately, in Whitehaven, aged 37, Ann KIRKBRIDE.
The 27th ult. at Aspatria, Mr. J. KIRKHAUGH, aged 74.
The 1st inst. at same place, Mrs. Agnes LOMAS, aged 82.
Lately, in Whitehaven, Captain Abraham THOMPSON, aged 34, late of the brig Content.
The 9th inst. on board the brig Westmorland, of Whitehaven, on the passage from Tobago to London, John, the youngest son of Mrs.
NEWTON, of Whitehaven, aged 20.
On Wednesday se'nnight, at Piet Nest, near Keswick, John SCOTT, Esq. aged 78.
On Saturday se'nnight, aged 65, Jane, the wife of Mr. Robert WARTON, of Appleby.-Mrs. WARTON went to bed that evening in good health
as usual, and when her husband awoke in the morning he found her dead by his side.
On Tuesday se'nnight, aged 24, Mr. William BATEMAN, of Appleby, grocer.
Wednesday se'nnight, Mr. James ARCHIBALD, sen. of Newcastle, slater.
Wednesday se'nnight, the Rev. Jos. WILKINSON, curate of St. Nicholas, in Newcastle, aged 49.
The 10th inst. at sea, Mr. Wm. FORSTER, of the North Shore, near Newcastle, master mariner, aged 60.-In the early period of the
French revolution, he singly retook his vessel, which had been captured, from six Frenchmen.
Monday se'nnight, at Caton, aged 47, Mr. Thos. IRVINE, of Lancaster (formerly of Kendal), spirit merchant.
Wednesday se'nnight, at Louth, Mr. B. CROSBY, of London, many years a respectable bookseller there.
At Barnbarroch, on Monday, Margaret, eldest daughter of Robert THRESHIE, Esq.
At Ardgour House, N. B. Flora BOYD, aged 104.
