At Gretna-Green, on Monday last, Mr. Thos. AINSLEY, of Headswood, parish of Irthington, to Miss Isabella JOHNSTON, of Moffat. 

 

At Brampton, on Thursday, the 9th inst. Capt. LOWTHIAN, R. N. to Margaret, third daughter of the late Mr. EWART, of that place. 

 

At Wigton, on Saturday last, Mr. John BURGH, of Crookdake-hall, to Miss MOORE, eldest daughter of Mrs. MOORE, innkeeper, Wigton. 

 

At Penrith, on Monday, Mr. Robert PATTISON, to Miss Mary GRAHAM. 

 

Same place and day, Mr. Peter PEARSON, to Miss Mary FLETCHER.

Berkeley-square, to Eleanor Mary Elizabeth, second daughter of the late Rev. Jonathan BOUCHER, late vicar of Epsom, in Surry. [The
Rev. Jonathan BOUCHER was born in Wigton, Cumberland.]

At Edinburgh, on the 16th ult. Mr. John ROBERTSON, of Eyemouth, to Isabella, second daughter of the late Mr. George HUMBLE, of
Gateshead.

On Wednesday se'nnight, Mr. COUTTS, the opulent banker, to Miss MELLON, of dramatic celebrity. She is now the mother-in-law of the
Dowager Countess of Guildford, the Dowager Marchioness of Bute, and of Lady BURDETT.
