DIED.

SUDDEN DEATHS.—Sunday week, at Wakefield, Mr. Richard TUCKER, of Manchester, aged 54, for many years a most respectable commercial traveller. He was found a corpse in bed.—On Sunday, aged 24, Miss PARISH, milliner, of Exeter. She was in perfect health at the house of a neighbour, and, with a few friends, was just about to proceed to church to attend the ceremony of a christening; but while in the act of kissing the child, she dropped down and expired immediately.—Very suddenly, at Penzance, in the prime of life, Captain James WOODRIDGE, of the Royal Navy. This gallant officer commanded the Mediator frigate, under Lord COCHRANE, at Basque Roads, and had the honour of breaking the enemy's boom, for which he was presented a gold chain and medal.—On Monday se'nnight, in the prime of life, Mr. John GRIGG, of the White Hart, Queen-street, Portsea: having been in an infirm state of health for some time, on his retiring to bed, he remarked how much better he then felt than he had for some time—he was a corpse before any reply could be made—he fell instantly lifeless.—On Wednesday se'nnight, Mr. HICKS, of Doncaster, was found dead in his room.—Monday, Mr. DOWIE, of Edinburgh, dropped down in a shop in the Lukenbooths, and instantly expired.
