At Penrith, on Monday last, Mrs. Elizabeth WALKER, school-mistress, aged 30. 

 

On Sunday last, at Wigton, Mr. John JOHNSTON, much esteemed through life, aged 84. 

 

On Monday, at same place, Mrs. CARR, advanced in years. 

 

A few days ago, at Maryport, Mr. Fredrick MITCHELL, aged 67. 

 

Same place, Mrs. BONAR, at an advanced age. 

 

Same place, Mrs. Mary BROUGHAM, at an advanced age. 

 

Same place, Mrs. HAYTON, at an advanced age. 

 

Same place, Mr. Wm. ARMSTRONG, at an advanced age. 

 

Suddenly, at Cockermouth, Mrs. Mary STEEL, wife of Mr. Jeremiah STEEL, thread-maker. [This death notice was retracted in the
following week's paper.] 

 

Yesterday week, at Whitehaven, aged 66, Mrs. Jane PIPER, a maiden lady; one of the Society of Friends. 

 

Monday se'nnight, at same place, Mr. John TODD, cooper, aged 75. 

 

Yesterday week, at same place, Mr. James FITZSIMONS, aged 58. 

 

A few days ago, at London, Miss Jane RAY, daughter of Mr. Charles RAY, late of Wigton. [This death notice was retracted in the
following week's paper.] 

 

On the 4th inst. at Warworth [sic - should be Warkworth], Northumberland, in her 91st year, in the full possession of her faculties,
Mrs. CLUTTERBUCK, relict of Richard CLUTTERBUCK, Esq. greatly respected. 

 

Wednesday se'nnight, the Rev. Jos. IRELAND, late curate of Wall's End; Northumberland. 

 

The 7th inst. Mrs. NIXON, wife of Mr. Robert NIXON, of Thirsk, Yorkshire; and late of the inn at Glenwhelt. 

 

At Dumfries, on the 26th ult. Janet COWAN, relict of Mr. John WALKER, late of Holm. 

 

Same place, on the 28th ult. Elizabeth HENDERSON, aged 78, widow of Mr. James JOHNSTONE, joiner. 

 

At Carsenstock. near Newton Stewart, Gallowayshire, on the 14th ult. Mr. W. MacGILL. 

 

Monday se'nnight, at a very advanced age, at London, Gen. Ralph DUNDAS, Colonel of the 8th regt. and Governor of Duncannon Fort, in
Ireland. 

 

Same day, at York, aged 93, Robert BISHOPRICK, Esq. many years an eminent surgeon there, and a man of the most unbounded charity. 

 

The same day, aged 104, the venerable Mr. Bartholomew JOHNSTON, of Scarbro', well known in the musical world. 

 

The 5th inst. aged 100, Mrs. Elizabeth HODGSON, of Hartford. 

 

At Louth, Ann FRIESTON, a pauper, aged 106. 

 

Lately, Eleanor GIBSON, of Whitley, parish of Tynemouth, aged 108.
