Same place and day, Mrs. Ann JOHNSON, aged 58.

On the 2d inst. at Dykra, in Liddlesdale, universally lamented by a large circle of friends, Mrs. Robert STAVERT, aged 27, second
daughter of Dr. GRAHAM, of Dalkeith, near Edinburgh. 

 

At Wigtown, Galloway, on the 22d ult. J. G. M'KEARSLIE, Esq. Deputy-Assistant Commissary-General to the forces. 

 

At Sanquhar, on the 30th ult. Mrs. LAIDLAW, midwife, aged 88. 

 

At Sanquhar, on the 6th inst. Mrs. Margaret HUNTER, aged 95. She retained her faculties to the last, and could, a few days since,
have sewed a fine seam as well as at 20 years of age, and without glasses. 

 

At Ayr, on the 28th ult. the Rev. W. DALRYMPLE, D. D. first minister of Ayr, in the 91st year of his age, and 68th of his ministry. 

 

At Alicant, in Spain, on the 4th of Jan. Lord MONTGOMERIE, only son of the Earl of Eglington.
