In this city, on Saturday last, Mrs. Dorothy HUTTON, aged 80.
Same place, on Monday, Mr. Adam ARMSTRONG, aged 72.
Same place, on Tuesday, Mrs. Mary STEPHENSON, mother of Mr. H. STEPHENSON, painter; aged 86.
In Botchergate, on Monday, Mr. John CLARK, weaver, aged 63.
On Tuesday last, at High Burnthwaite, in the parish of St. Cuthbert, Mrs. Jane BELL, aged 91.
At Beaumont, near this city, on Monday last, much respected, Mr. George JOHNSON, aged 76.
A few days ago, at Moorhouse, near this city, aged about 80, Ephraim WILSON, a Black.-He was the slave of Mr. David MAITLAND, for
many years, who brought him over from Virginia to Kirkcudbright, nearly 60 years ago; and for his faithful services gave him his
freedom. He then became a servant to the late Mr. John BELL, of Moorhouse, with whom he continued a long time.-He had been blind for
a few years past; and, being very much respected, was attended to the grave by a considerable number of his neighbours, many of whom
were observed to be very sensibly affected on the occasion.
At Corby, near this city, on the 22d inst. Mrs. ROBINSON, innkeeper, aged about 60.
On Monday last, at Sowerby-Row, parish of Castle-Sowerby, in this county, Mr. Lancelot RICHARDSON, aged 96.-He was a man of so sound
a constitution, that he scarcely ever experienced an hour's sickness during the whole of his long life, and could read the smallest
print without the assistance of glasses.
At Sykehead, on the 14th inst. John GRAHAM, after a lingering illness, aged 18.
Lately, Miss GRAHAM, of the Globe Inn, Longtown.
Saturday last, at Wigton, Mr. Hugh McALPIN, aged 77.
Same day and place, Mr. Philip ROBINSON, aged 70.
Same day and place, Mrs. Mary COOK, aged 59.
Same place, on Monday, Mrs. Mary TICKLE, aged 74.
Same place, on Thursday, Mr. PRATT, officer of excise, in the prime of life.
On Wednesday, at Blennerhassett, Mr. HODGSON, aged 47 years.
At Penrith, on the 20th inst. Mrs. Jane HINDSON, aged 90 years.
At Penrith, on Monday the 17th inst. Ann, the wife of Mr. Anthony SOULBY, printer, &c. aged 63; after a lingering illness, which she
bore with true Christian resignation.
Same place, on Sunday, Mrs. Mary ATKINSON, aged 82.
