A few days ago, in this city, Mr. Joseph BUSHBY, of English street, joiner, to Mrs. Mary HALLIBURTON, of Stanwix.
On Monday last, Mr. James CLIFTON, to Miss Sarah SIMPSON, of this place.
On the 15th inst. Mr. Christopher WATSON, of Skeughdyke, to Miss Isabel HESKET, daughter of Mr. HESKET, of Plumptonfoot, in the
parish of Hesket-in-the-Forest.
At Cross-Cannonby, on Tuesday last, Mr. Joseph DOLPHIN, jun. to Miss Jane LAW, both of Maryport.
Monday last, at Whitehaven, Mr. Thomas BEWLEY, to Mrs. Mary MURPHEY.
The 4th inst. at Dublin, R. TILLEY, Esq. to Miss WOOD, sister of Mr. WOOD, of the Globe inn, Cockermouth.
At Edinburgh, on Thursday morning, Alexander GLEN, Esq. merchant, Glasgow, to Janet, youngest daughter of the late William GRACIE,
Esq. merchant, Dumfries.
At the Manse of Kiltearn, on the 26th ult. T. S. TRAILL, Esq. of Tirlot, M. D. Liverpool, to Mrs. WATSON, daughter of the Rev. Dr.
ROBERTSON of Kiltearn.
DIED.
On the 13th inst. at his prebendal house in the Abbey, Carlisle, in his 92d year, the Rev. Joseph HUDSON, D. D. 29 years second
Prebendary of that Cathedral, and Vicar of Warkworth and Newburn, in the county of Northumberland.
The 10th inst Mrs. Sarah TOWSON, widow, aged 85.
Same day, in Botchergate, Mr. John WARWICK, officer of excise, aged 29.
At Maryport, on Wednesday last, Mr. John ELLIOT, a man of unaffected piety, a sincere friend, an affectionate husband and parent,
and promoter of unanimity and peace.
On Wednesday last, Mr. Humphry GILL, of Raughton-Gill, parish of Hesket, aged upwards of 85 years.
Sunday, at Whitehaven, aged 72, Mr. John BOWMAN, many years in the service of the late and present Earl of Lonsdale.
Wednesday se'nnight, at same place, Joseph LINDALL, aged 78; seventy of which he had been employed in the Whitehaven collieries.
Thursday se'nnight, at Whitefield, aged 53, Mr. John COATS, formerly of Red Dial.
Tuesday se'nnight, the Rev. Wm. HUTTON, vicar of Beetham, near Millthorp, aged 73.
At Dumfries, on Saturday last, Mrs. Eleanora THOMAS wife of Mr. James CARTER, innkeeper there.
