The Friendship, Capt. SCOTT, of Workington, and the Defiance, Capt. CARR, of Whitehaven, from Cork, bound to Spain, were lately
taken by an American privateer off Cape Finesterre, and burnt. 

 

The Nelson, SMITH; Lady Cremorne, BROWN; Postlethwaite, SMITH; Bolton, BOWMAN-of Maryport, are all arrived in British ports from the
West Indies. 

 

The Antigua, DAWSON, is arrived at Whitehaven from Antigua. 

 

The Prince of Wales, GAITSKELL, has arrived at Whitehaven from Bayonne; and the Langton, DIXON, of Whitehaven, at Liverpool, from
Bourdeaux. 

 

The Kelsick Wood, FISHER; Integrity, MORDY; Derwent, BELL; Jean, KENDAL; Birkby, SCAIFE; John, PATTINSON; Shaw, HOLLIDAY; Mounts
Bay, LOSH; Wilton, GROOM; Ranger, RITSON; Russell, CARR; Ann, HARRISON; Caster, WINDER; all belonging to Workington, are arrived at
Liverpool, from the West Indies. 

 

The William Fell, BOAN; Albion, THOMPSON; Ardent, KENDAL, belonging to Workington, are arrived at Greenock, from the West Indies. 

 

The Sarah, BROWN, and Eagle, CANNON, belonging to Workington, are arrived at Cork, from the West Indies. 

 

The Crosby, M'GAA; Albion, ROBINSON; Mary Fell, WILDERIDGE; Trafalgar, ATKINSON, belonging to Workington, are arrived at Dublin,
from the West Indies. 

 

The Isabella, PAGAN, belonging to Workington, which sailed from Cork with the fleet, on the 10th of March, is arrived at St. Croix.
