Same place, on Monday last, Mr. James ROTHWELL, of St. Cuthbert's parish, to Miss Mary LAWRANCE. 

 

Lately, at Dalston, Mr. John BARNES, of Stainton, near this city, to Miss WILSON, eldest daughter of Mr. WILSON, of Dalston Hall. 

 

On Thursday the 19th inst. Mr. W. BELL, Wall Holme, to Miss Ann ELLIOT, Holme Head. 

 

At Bridekirk, Cumberland, on Thursday the 19th inst. Mr. WILKINSON, of Plumbland, to Miss MOUNSEY, of Tallentire House. 

 

At Wamphray mill, Dumfries-shire, on Monday, Mr. PEARSON, miller there, aged 18, to Mrs. PROUDFOOT, widow, aged 45. 

 

At Duncow, on the 19th inst. Dr. John KIRKPATRICK, aged 70, to Miss Margaret M'MICHAN, from Gatehouse, aged 20. 

 

At Newtonstewart, Mr. Samuel HANNAY, surgeon, to Miss Helen MAIN, daughter of John MAIN, Esq. of Barnaight. 

 

DIED. 

 

In this city, Mrs. Eleanor GERRARD, aged 50. 

 

Same place, aged 52, Mrs. Sarah BLACKBURN. 

 

Same place, Mrs. Frances BARBER, aged 78. 

 

At Kingmoor, on Tuesday, Mr. Thomas RUSH, aged 23. 

 

On Thursday, at her father's house, in Brampton, after a tedious illness, Miss Ann SLOAN, aged 22-beloved by all her acquaintance. 

 

A few days ago, Mrs. R. SMITH, Brampton, aged 90. 

 

On Tuesday last, at Penrith, Mrs. DOBSON, aged 87. 

 

Same day and place, Mrs. Jane RODBERT, aged 85. 

 

On Monday last, at Crosscannoby, John ALLONBY, Esq. much lamented. 

 

Saturday last, in Whitehaven, aged 81, Mr. John ROME. 

 

Wednesday se'nnight, suddenly, at Eskdale, the Rev. Mr. MARSHALL, curate of Eskdale Chapel. 

 

On the 12th inst. at Brompton, aged 39, in consequence of an apoplectic attack, Charles Luther WATSON, Esq. late Lieut. Colonel of
the third Dragoon Guards, and eldest son of the Lord Bishop of Landaff. 

 

The 5th of June last, at Caconpore, in the East Indies, in the prime of life, Mr. Richard PONSONBY, son of the late Miles PONSONBY,
Esq. 

 

At Stranraer, on the 18th, Miss LEGGATT, daughter of the late David LEGGATT, Esq. of Barlockhart.
