Wednesday se'nnight, at Whitehaven, John PEILE, Esq. principal engineer and agent for Lord Lonsdale's collieries at Whitehaven, to
Mrs. BRANTHWAITE. 

 

Saturday, at Newcastle, Captain DOUGAN, 4th Dragoon Guards, to Miss F. M. WADMAN, youngest daughter of the late Captain WADMAN, of
the 20th regt. 

 

Same day, Mr. James GRAY, of Newcastle, currier, to Miss FENWICK, daughter of the late Barnabas FENWICK, Esq. of Ryton. 

 

DIED. 

 

Sunday, aged 95, Mr. Robert JAMES, of English-street. 

 

Monday, Mary, wife of Mr. E. CHARLTON, miller, aged 50. 

 

On the 19th at Penrith, aged 76, Mrs. Mary HINDSON. 

 

At Maryport, a few days ago, Mr. Thomas BELL, nailor, at an advanced age.-Same place, on Friday week, Mrs. M'KENZIE, relict of Mr.
Wm. M'KENZIE, aged 87. 

 

Suddenly and lately in London, when on a visit to consult his physician, Dr. BAILLIE, the Rev. Joseph WISE, of Rochford, Essex,
brother to Mr. WISE, surgeon, Maryport. 

 

Sunday last, at Seaton, near Workington, Mrs. BACON, in the 90th year of her age. 

 

Sunday last, at Salmon Hall, near Workington, Anthony PEAT, Esq. aged 57, collector of his Majesty's customs in the port of
Workington, after a lingering illness, which he bore with truly pious resignation-his death is much lamented by his family and
friends. 

 

Sunday last, at Whitehaven, Mrs. FOSTER, wife of J. FOSTER, Esq. of Newtown, near Carlisle. 

 

Monday last, at Priestcroft, near Maryport, Miss Mary SKELTON, in the prime of life, one of the Society of Friends. 

 

Tuesday se'nnight, at Keswick, Mr. Robert STAINTON, auctioneer, aged 58, brother of Joseph STAINTON, Esq. managing partner of the
Carron Iron Works. 

 

At Dumfries, on Wednesday se'nnight, Mr. John CLARK, late in Cormaddie. 

 

The 9th inst. in London, Miss Margaret DOUGLAS, neice of Sir John DOUGLAS, of Kelhead, N. B. Bart. 

 

At Kilmarnock, on the 4th inst. the Rev. Robt. JAFFRAY, minister of the Associate Burgher Congregation there, in the 66th year of
his age, and 39th of his ministry.
