Monday last, Mr. John DOW, of Flimby, aged 57. 

 

Tuesday, Mr. Samuel GRAVES, mariner, of the above place. 

 

Lately, at Calderbridge, Mr. Joseph TAYLOR, aged 81: formerly master of a vessel from Whitehaven. 

 

Saturday last, at same place, Mrs. Esther BRAGG, widow, aged 67. 

 

Thursday se'nnight, at Workington, Mrs. BAXTER, widow of the late Rev. Mr. BAXTER, of Arlecdon. 

 

Lately, at Eaglesfield, in the parish of Brigham, Cumberland, Mrs. Mary WHINNEY, widow, in her 96th year; the oldest female in the
parish. Only two years last harvest, she followed the reapers one day, and bound up thirty stooks of corn. 

 

A few days ago, at Bridekirk, near Cockermouth, Mrs. THOMPSON, widow. 

 

Lately, at Bannast-hill, in the parish of Caldbeck, Mr. John OLDMAN, a worthy and respectable yeoman, aged 46. 

 

On the 25th ult. at Barton New House, Westmorland, aged 83, Eleanor LANCASTER, widow of Mr. Samuel LANCASTER; much regretted by a
numerous circle of friends and, acquaintance. 

 

At Kendal, on Sunday last, aged 73, John WAKEFIELD, Esq. banker, one of the Society of Friends. 

 

Saturday last, in Newcastle, aged 78, Miss Elizabeth ELLISON, aunt to Cuthbert ELLISON, Esq. of Hebburn Hall. 

 

Lately, at Bandon, Ireland, Capt. Septimus Walpole LOANE, of the 8th foot, son-in-law of Lieut.-Gen. DICKSON, of Newcastle. 

 

The 18th ult. Mrs. Elizabeth HALLIDAY, wife of Mr. William HALLIDAY, of Newcastle, aged 77. 

 

On Saturday week, at Preston, aged 59, Mrs. GREAVES, wife of Thomas GREAVES, Esq. banker, and alderman of that Borough. 

 

The 23d ult. Mrs. HARROP, wife of the Proprietor and Printer of the Manchester Mercury. 

 

Sunday last, at Manchester, aged 58, Mrs. CLARKE, wife of Mr. Wm. CLARKE, bookseller. 

 

On Wednesday se'nnight, at Streatham, Surrey, after a long and severe illness, Mr. George ROBINSON, bookseller, Paternoster-row. 

 

A few days ago, at Desford, Leicestershire, aged 101, John UPTON, stocking-maker. 

 

At Dumfries, on Wednesday se'nnight, Miss Elizabeth BROWN, daughter of the late Mr. John BROWN, merchant in that place. 

 

At Dumfries, on same day, Mr. Edward THOMSON, shoemaker. 

 

At Craighaugh, on Friday se'nnight, Mrs. WIGHTMAN, aged 82. 

 

Wednesday se'nnight, at Colne, in the prime of life, the Rev. John HARTLEY, Incumbent Curate of that place, and one of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for Lancashire.
