I have a Moses Haile, born about 1833 at Haile.  He was a farmer and innkeeper at the King's Arms, Muncaster, and married my great-grandfather's first cousin Jane Lace.

Hello everyone

I am interested in the surname HAILE  in Cumberland before 1850 in the
area around St Bees. But would love to share with anyone who has this
surname in their tree.

My 4 x great grandfather  was Moses HAILE 1728 Haile, Cumberland - 1804
Ennerdale, Cumberland. 3 x g grandfather was another Moses 1751 - 1820

2x g grandfather was William b 1812 in Egremont, died 1882 in Tynemouth,
Northumberland

The names Moses and Aaron appear frequently in the various families
