One of mine there Petra.
Despite having ancestors actually born and bred in Cumberland the only ones
who seem to pop up are Isaac Jopling and family who lived in County Durham.
I have Barbara's date of death as 20th October 1814 and her age as 52 from
the burial records of St. Mary's Church

of Killpipe, county of Wicklow.

At Wigton, on Saturday se'nnight, Mr. Wm. DODGSON, manufacturer, to Miss

At Crosscannonby, on Saturday last, Mr. Geo. DOBIE, saddler, to Miss Jane
TICKLE, both of Maryport.
Monday last, at Workington, Capt. John GRAYSON, of the ship General Blucher,
to Miss WALLACE, daughter of Mr. WALLACE, ship-builder, of that town.
Monday last, at Whitehaven, Mr. Thomas HUGGAN, to Miss Elizabeth HEARN; both
of Whitehaven.
Lately, at same place, Mr. William SLOAN, mate of the Volunteer, to Miss

aged 61.

respected.

Yesterday week, aged 51, Barbara, wife of Mr. Isaac JOPLING, of Gateshead,
marble-mason.
On the 3d of May, at sea, on his passage to Bombay and Ceylon, the Rev.
Thomas COKE, L. L. D. an eminent Minister of the Wesleyan Methodists; the
zealous advocate of Missions, and the unceasing friend of the Negroes, many
thousands of whom owe their present religious comforts, and hopes of eternal
bliss, under God, to his indefatigable exertions.
The 12th Sept. whilst leading on the advance of the British troops against
the American lines before Baltimore, Lieut. James GRACIE, of the light
company 21st Fusileers, son of the late James GRACIE, Esq. Dumfries.
Yesterday week, Mr. John FERGUSON, farmer in Drumjohn, Dumfries-shire, aged
90.
