At same place, on Saturday last, Mr. Wm. WILKINSON, butcher, to Mrs. BROWN, widow of the late Mr. John BROWN, miller at
Emont-bridge.
The 20th inst. at Dacre, near Penrith, Mr. John CARTER, of Wennington, near Kirkby Lonsdale, to Miss Ann ARMAT, of Newbiggin.
At Crosscannonby, on Wednesday last, Mr. Thomas BROWN, ship carpenter, Maryport, to Miss BEATIE, of the same place.
Saturday last, at Cockermouth, Mr. BLEAYMIRE, solicitor, Penrith, to Miss STEEL, daughter of Joseph STEEL, Esq. of Cockermouth.

*** The account of a marriage at Penrith, between Mr. HUDSON and Miss ROBINSON, inserted in our last, turns out to be a gross and
infamous fabrication of one lost to all sense of feeling and honour. We always make it a rule never to admit anonymous articles; but
in the present instance, the name of the pretended husband, &c. were regularly attached to the letter we received.
DIED.
On Sunday morning, in English-street, Richard FERGUSON, Esq. aged 57.
On Saturday last, aged 72, Mr. Peter M'KILLER, for many years well known in this city as a drover. While driving some beasts at
Stanwix, apparently in good health, he fell down and instantly expired.
On Saturday last, Mr. Wm. HOW, without the Irish Gate, aged 90.
On Saturday, at Skinburness, Mr. Daniel MESSENGER, aged 27 years.
On the 26th inst. at Workington, Mrs. BROWN, innkeeper. Her death was occasioned by her clothes catching the flames, when sleeping
by the fire.
On the 27th inst. at same place, Mrs. FLETCHER, wife of Mr. David FLETCHER, rope-maker.
Sunday se'nnight, at Gillfoot, near Whitehaven, Mrs. GRAYSON, (relict of the late Anthony GRAYSON, Esq.) in the 96th year of her
age.
The same day, at Parton, in the prime of life, Mrs. BRAGG, wife of Mr. Thomas BRAGG; of the Society of Friends.
Saturday last, in Whitehaven, Mrs. Esther EDGER, widow.
Sunday last, at same place, in his 57th year, Mr. Wm. JOHNSON, formerly a draper in Whitehaven.
