On Monday last, in this city, Serjent BEETHEAM, of the 55th regiment of foot, to Miss Elizabeth ELLIOT.
On Thursday, at Wigton, Mr. G. BROWN, taylor, to Mrs. RICKERBY, widow of the late Mr. RICKERBY, all of Wigton.
A few days ago, the Rev. Wm. LAWDER, Dissenting Minister in Bewcastle, to Miss Mary LITTLE, sister of the late Mr. LITTLE,
attorney-at-law, in this city.
The 26th ult. in the Abbey Holm, Mr. William OSBURN, to Miss CRAGG, of Mowbray.
On Saturday last, at Bromfield Church, Holm Cultram, Mr. George WRIGHTSON, banker, Maryport, to Miss Mary EDGAR, daughter of Mr. C.

Saturday last, at Beckermont, Mr. HUTCHINSON, of Braystones, to Miss ATKINSON, only daughter of Mr. ATKINSON, of Sella Field.

The 19th ult. at Temple Sowerby, Abram LEVY, Esq. to Miss Jane ATKINSON, daughter of the late Matthew ATKINSON, Esq. of that place.

THOMPSON, of Brankenwall, near Ravenglass.
In London, on the 24th ult. William Jones BURDETT, Esq. (brother of Sir Francis BURDETT) to Miss BRENT.
DIED.
On the 7th inst. after a short illness, aged 26 years, Mr. Joseph Robinson FOSTER, of the house of Messrs. ELLIOT and FOSTER,
Bankers in this city. The mildness of his manners, combined with the goodness of his heart, justly endeared him to a numerous circle
of friends and acquaintance, by whom he will be long and deservedly regretted.
Wednesday se'nnight, at Cockermouth, after a few hours illness, Mr. Joseph YOUNGHUSBAND, aged 68, late of Gilcrux.
The same day, and at the same place, Mrs. Ann WRANGHAM, widow of Mr. George WRANGHAM.
Tuesday se'nnight, at Keswick, Mr. John LADYMAN, aged 73, an eminent pencil maker.
At Whitehaven, on Sunday last, Miss JOHNSON, daughter of the late Capt. Richard JOHNSON, aged 29.
Same place and day, Mrs. RUSSELL, wife of Mr. RUSSELL, brewer, aged 40.
Same place, on Tuesday se'nnight, aged 71, Mr. John HOLMES, mariner.
On Tuesday the 29th ult. at Tirril, Mr. Richard SLEE, aged 16, son of Mr. John SLEE, teacher of the mathematics; and on the Saturday
following, Elizabeth DIXON, aged 24, servant at the same house.
Lately, aged 27, the Rev. George PHILLIP, A. M. classical tutor of the Lancashire Independent Academy.
On Saturday week, in the 33d year of his age, Mr. Robert LLOYD, one of the proprietors of the Birmingham Gazette, third son of
Charles LLOYD, Esq. banker, Birmingham. In the short period of six weeks, it has been the melancholy task of that respectable paper
to record the death of two sons and one daughter belonging to this family.
